And to ensure you’re armed with a bunch of supporting statistics, this dynamic video, brilliantly executed by Earnest Agency, provides a compilation of statistics in a highly entertaining format:

Its definitely hard to convince those stuck in their ways to convert to new methods of advertising. Social media is pretty much a necessity for anyone who has a website. Its important to make people believe you are an authority in your niche. What I’m saying is, you want people to talk about your company..create the buzz.
Connor,
Completely agree. If you have a website, social media is must. It’s hard to believe in this day and age, you have to even argue that point with some execs. What type of social media marketing are you doing with your business?
Thanks,
Cristina
Well for SERPs and traffic I do the usual..post on twitter, linked in, facebook, press releases, article submissions, forums. Everything possible to get traffic and increase in the rankings. Its easy to make a post on a forum to get your sig out there but what I’m talking about is conversation. You need to get your name known as someone who knows what their talking about
Thanks for the heads up. This will help in my decision making process.
Good Point, Connor,
Unless you are respected for your opinion, your ideas won’t get much following. Good video to bring home the point of B2B social media !
Hi,
I was tickled by the YouTube vid…but… as a marketing agency selling marketing tools to B2Bers, I don’t find stats that line up with yours at all. I’m not referring to my war stories or my gut feel, but to several surveys I have done over the past three years.
I’m certain your B2B company size is BIGGER than mine and in surveys and other things, size does matter.
Thx
