Source Interlink Companies, Inc.. The Group's principal activity is to provide marketing services to magazine publishers and consumer product manufacturers. The Group operates through four segments. Magazine Fulfillment segment distributes magazines to retail outlets in the specialty retail market operated by retail chains and independent retailers. In-Store Services segment assists retailers in the mainstream retail market with the design and implementation of their front-end merchandising programs. Wood Manufacturing segment designs and manufactures wood displays and store fixtures for leading specialty retailers. Shared Services segment consists of corporate finance and human resource. In Nov 2004, the Group discontinued the business of secondary wholesale distribution operation. In 2005, the Group acquired Alliance Entertainment Corp.,& Levy Circulating Co., LLC. In Mar 2006, the Group acquired Anderson-SCN Services, LLC & Anderson Mid-Atlantic News, LLC. CD and DVD Fulfillment acctd 58% of 2006 revenues; Magazine Fulfillment, 37% and In-Store Services, 5%
