Company Description
Aura Systems Incorporated(AURA). The Group's principal activity is to manufacture and market a patented power generator that uses a vehicle's engine to generate electricity. The mobile generator named AuraGen(R) is installed under the hood of vehicles to deliver on-location plug-in electricity. The product is used in various markets including recreational vehicles, military and other federal agencies, catering, public works/construction and oil and gas markets. The Group manufactures 90 different engine types of generators for models of General Motors, Ford, DaimlerChrysler, Caterpillar, Cummins and Navistar. Major customers include Inland Detroit Diesel, Stewart and Stevenson Services, Williams Diesel, and the US Army. The Group markets mainly in North America, Europe and Asia. It also has interests in electromagnetic actuator and actuated mirror array technologies.
