FPI Ltd(FPI). The Group's principal activities are to harvest, procure, produce and market seafood. The main type of seafood includes cold water shrimp, snow crab, groundfish, shellfish and scallops. The business of the Group is carried out in two segments: Primary Processing and Marketing and Value Added Processing. The Primary Processing segment takes seafood in harvested state and turns it into market-ready products. The Value Added Processing segment adds ingredients such as bread, batter, glazes, sauces and vegetables to seafood. The operations of Group are carried out in the United States and Europe. Marketing and Value Added Processing accounted for 64% of 2002 revenues and Primary Processing, 36%.
