Deltic Timber Corporation. The Group's principal activities are to grow and harvest timber and manufacture and market lumber. The Group operates under four segments: Mills, Woodlands, Real Estate and Corporate. The Group's Mills segment produces dimension lumber, boards, boards, timbers, decking and finger-jointed studs. The lumber segment is sold to wholesaler's distributors, lumber treaters and truss manufacturers and treaters in the South and Midwest which are used in residential construction, roof trusses and laminated beams. Woodlands segment manages 438,200 acres of timberland in Arkansas and north Louisiana. Real Estate segment operates and develops property in stages and real estate sales consists of residential lots sold to builders or individuals and commercial tracts.
