Doman Industries Ltd. The Group's principal activities are to manufacture and market forest products. The Group operates in two segments: Solid wood and Pulp. The Solid wood segment includes timber harvesting, reforestation, forest management, sawmilling logs into lumber and wood chips and lumber marketing operations. The Pulp segment includes manufacturing and marketing of pulp, dissolving sulphite and kraft. The operations of the Group are carried out in the Coastal region of British Columbia. The products of the Group are sold in approximately 30 countries worldwide, which include Canada, United States, Asia, Europe and other. Solid wood accounted for 73% of 2002 revenues and Pulp, 27%.
