Orange-Co, Inc. is an integrated citrus company primarily concerned with the growing and processing citrus products as well as packaging and marketing these products and other beverages. As of November 1998 the company owned and managed 16,796 acres of Florida citrus groves and the fruit harvested therefrom. The production from these groves is principally used in the company's citrus processing operations in Bartow, Florida. This processing facility has concentrate, blending, fresh squezzed juice, by-product, packaging and storage operations providing the versatility to make many citrus and related beverage products for sale in a variety of markets. Orange-Co also packages and markets non-citrus beverages to complement the citrus related products supplied to its customers in the food service business. The company's wholly owned subsidiaries include Orange-co of Florida, Inc., International Fruit Inc. and Orange-co Dispenser Services Inc. Beverage division accounted for 96% of fiscal 1998 revenues and drove management division, 4%.
