Hokuto Corporation. The Group's principal activities are the manufacture and sale of mushrooms. It is also engaged in the manufacture of polypropylene bottles used in mushroom cultivation, the sale of packing materials, cultivating materials and cultivating machinery, research and developing quality of mushrooms. The operations are carried out through following divisions: Mushrooms; Chemicals and Health food. The Mushrooms division deals with introduction of air conditioning facility and mechanization facility for mushrooms. The Chemicals division manufactures chemicals which are needed for mushrooms cultivation. Mushrooms accounted for 84% of fiscal 2006 revenues; chemicals, 15% and health food, 1%
