Other operations of the company include marketing both a life-stage and a therapeutic line of premium pet foods through Vet's Choice, a joint venture with Heinz Pet Products, an affiliate of H.J. Heinz Company. The company acquired AAH Management Corp, 24 animal hospitals and 2 veterinary diagnostic laboratory during the year and 6 animal hospitals in Year 2000. Animal hospitals accounted for 68% of 1999 revenues and veterinary diagnostic laboratory, 32%.
