Company Description
Navistar International Corporation. The Group's principal activities are carried out through three segments: The Truck segment manufactures and distributes a full line of diesel-powered trucks and school buses in the common carrier, private carrier, government/service, leasing, construction, energy/petroleum and student transportation markets. The Engine segment designs and manufactures diesel engines for use in the Group's Class 6 and 7 medium trucks, school buses and selected class 8 heavy truck models. This segment also sells engines for industrial, agricultural and marine applications. The Financial Services segment provides retail, wholesale and lease financing of products sold by the truck segment and its dealers within the United States. The Group operates in the United States, Canada, Mexico and Brazil. The operating subsidiary of the Group is International Truck and Engine Corporation.
