Douglas and Lomanson Company researches, designs, engineers and manufactures a wide range of products utilizing metals, plastics and textiles as primary materials. The company is a major supplier to the automotive industry of seating systems consisting of frames, springs, mechanisms, molded foam pads, covers and decorative trim plastic parts. The company also manufactures decorative and functional body trim components. In addition, industrial and commercial divisions produce material handling equipment including pulleys, rollers, bagging and conveyer equipment under the name "The Chantland Company" and side loading and refridgerated truck bodies and trailers at the "Centennial Body" and "Atlas Body" divisions. The company currently operates 20 manufacturing plants in th United States, Canada and Mexico. Ford motor accounted for 48% of 1995 revenues; Chyrulser, 25%; other 15% and general motors, 12%.
