Williams Controls, Inc.. The Group's principal activities are to manufacture, design and develop vehicle components, microcircuits, cable assemblies and other electronic products. The Group conducts its operations through two business segments: vehicle components and electrical components and global positioning system. The vehicle component segment manufactures, assembles, packages and distributes truck and auto accessories and conversion kits for heavy vehicles to use compressed natural gas and gas metering products. The electrical components and global positioning system segment develops and manufactures sensors, microcircuits, cable assemblies and other electronic products for the telecommunications and the transportation industry. The Group markets its product in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Sweden, Europe, South America and Australia. Vehicle Components accounted for 99% of fiscal 2002 revenues and Electrical Components and Global Positioning Systems, 1%.
