Genuine Parts Company. The Group's principal activities are to distribute automotive replacement parts, industrial replacement parts, office products and electrical and electronic materials. The Group operates through four segments. The Automotive Parts segment distributes automotive replacement parts and accessory items. The Industrial Parts segment distributes industrial replacement parts and related supplies such as industrial bearings and power transmission, including hydraulic and pneumatic products. The Office Products segment distributes office and other business related products such as computer supplies, imaging supplies, general office and school supplies and healthcare supplies. The Electrical and Electronic Materials segment distributes materials such as magnet wire, copper clad laminate, conductive materials, insulating and shielding materials, assembly tools, adhesives and chemicals. During 2006, the Group acquired Lewis Supply Company and Ruston Industrial.
