Company Description
Arcadian Corporation is one of the largest producers and marketers of nitrogen fertilizers and chemicals in the Western Hemisphere. Their products, which include, ammonia, urea, nitric acid, ammonium nitrate, nitrogen solutions and phosphate products are used for both agricultural and industrial purposes. The company at present has nine operating plants which ship products to agricultural, industrial and export customers via barge, rail, truck and ship. Urea accounted for 29% of 1995 revenues; ammonia, 27%; nitrogen solutions, 25%; phosphate products, 7%; ammonium nitrate, 6%; nitrate acid, 3% and other, 3%.
