Polifarb Wroclaw S.A.. Polifarb Wroclaw is a leading manufacturer of paint, varnish and other similar products in Poland. The most popular brand among the customers are: water dispersion paint, phtalic products and a new brand on the market - resin based products. In July 1996 the company officially received Quality System Certificate (ISO 9001) granted by the Polish Research and Certification Centre together with DQS (Germany). Polifarb Wroclaw is planning to merge with another company called Polifarb Cieszyn. Throughout 1996 the company carried out several ecological projects, amongst them the expansion of its computer controlled sewage treatment plant, modernization of the power plant complex and the installation of solvent washing and solvent regeneration. The total export in 1996 reached PLN 17,534,700, which is 8,5 % of total sales.
