Nova Chemicals Corporation. The Group's principal activities are carried out through two divisions: Olefins and Polyoefins and Styrenics. Olefins and Polyoefins business produces ethylene, polyethylene and chemical and energy co-products. Major operating facilities are located near Joffre, Alberta and Corunna in Ontario. Styrenics business produces styrene monomer and styrenic polymers. Manufacturing facilities are located at sites in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands and France. The Group produces polyethylene and styrenic polymers primarily from internal ethylene and styrene production. Olefins and polyolefins accounted for 60% of 2002 gross revenues and Styrenics, 40%.
