Rohm & Haas Co. The Group's principal activities are carried through six segments: Coatings, Performance Chemicals, Monomers, Electronic Materials, Adhesives and Sealants, and Salt. Coatings segment provides binders, additives for acrylic paint, powder coatings, decorative and functional coating. Performance Chemicals provides plastic additives, consumer and industrial specialties such as antimicrobials, dispersants, acrylic emulsions. Monomers segment manufactures methyl methacrylate, acrylic acid and associated esters as well as specialty monomer products. Electronic Materials segment provides cutting-edge technology used in telecommunications, consumer electronics and household appliances. Salt includes consumer salt and also offers products needed for water conditioning, food processing, agriculture and highway ice control. Adhesives and Sealants segment provides packaging, laminating, pressure sensitive and construction, transportation adhesives to customers.
