Company Description
EMS-Chemie Holding AG(EMS). The Group's principal activities are the development and manufacture of polymer and chemical products. The Group's activities are carried out through two divisions: Performance Polymers and Fine Chemicals. The Performance Polymers division produces custom-made performance polymers materials, which replace metal in automotive components and in the electronics industry. The Fine Chemicals and Engineering division produces hardening agents for powder coating, funding agents for the tire industry and epoxy compounds for the manufacture of building protection products. And also manufactures ignition devices for automotive airbag applications. The Group has operations in Switzerland, Europe union, North America and Asia. Performance Polymers accounted for 89% of 2005 revenues and Fine Chemicals 11%
