Company Description
BakBone Software Incorporated. The Group's principal activity is to develop and globally distribute software solutions for the network storage and open systems markets. The two main products of the Group are: NetVault and Magna Vault. NetVault is storage management application software for backup and restoration of data that addresses the data storage needs of systems administrators. This product is currently sold through a network of original equipment manufacturers and solution providers. Magna Vault is secondary storage management software for UNIX and Linux host operating environments. These products provide virtual file system support for compact discs, digital video discs, optical and tape storage technologies. The products of the Group are currently sold in North America, Europe, Middle East, Africa and the Pacific Rim. Licensing accounted for 82% of fiscal 2002 revenues and Services, 18%.
