The Group's principal activities are to produce, manage and promote a portfolio of tradeshows, conferences and other events for the information technology. The events conducted by the Group provide community, content and commerce for vendors, resellers, large volume end-users and others in the information technology industry, including consultants and other advisors. In 2002, the Group provided face-to-face marketplaces for business-to-business marketing, sales and education in the IT industry for more than 530,000 participants at 26 owned and operated events, including co-located events. The Group has operations in the United States, Canada, Europe and Japan. On 02-Feb-2003, the Group filed for protection and reorganization under chapter 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code.
