Evans & Sutherland Computer Corporation. The Group's principal activity is to design, manufacture, market and support visual systems used to display images of the real world rapidly and accurately. The product is designed for simulation for use in military and commercial applications. The Group also provides visual system technology to planetariums, science centers and entertainment venues. The Group develops and delivers a complete line of image generators, displays, databases, services and support products that match technology to customer requirements. The Group has operations in the United States, Europe and Asia. On 7-Feb-2006, Group entered into an asset purchase agreement with Rockwell Collins, Inc. In 2005, it successfully moved it's EPX-50 product line to the PCI Express baseline. In 2005, Group substantially completed the design of the next generation simFUSION platform. On 28-Apr-2006, the Group acquired Spitz, Inc. Develops and markets high-performance 3D visual simulation.
