Transact International Inc.. Transact International Inc. designs, manufactures, markets and installs air cargo material handling systems and equipment. The company also renders consulting and engineering services in relation to such systems and equipment. The products of the company include various components comprising of basic cargo handling systems. The two types of equipments are terminal equipment and ramp equipment. Terminal equipment include truck dock lifts, transfer vehicles, elevating transfer vehicles, decks and storage racks. Ramp equipment is a mobile equipment which accepts cargo containers at the ramp adjacent to the cargo terminals. Spare parts are also sold as replacement parts for ramp equipment. Export sales accounted for 9% of total sales in fiscal 1999. The major customers are airlines, air express and freight companies-especially U.S. Air Force. Mobile equipment accounted for 54% of fiscal 1999 revenues; transfer balls & spare parts, 27% and licensing revenues, 19%.
