Alpha Systems Inc.. The Company's principal activity is the development of software for telecommunication systems. The Group is closely involved in the development of the software solutions necessary to power vital network management systems. These network management systems, in turn monitor the network for software errors and equipment malfunctions, maintain performance levels, operate charge collection functions and ensure data confidentiality. The operations are carried out through the following divisions: Backbone Communication Systems; Open Systems and Other. The Backbone Communication Systems division deals in node systems, mobile network systems, and network management systems. The Other operations include system operations, system development personnel supply, integration services and the sale of package software. Backbone communication systems accounted for 85% of fiscal 2006 revenues; open systems, 11% and other, 4%
