eGain Communications Corporation. The Group's principal activity is to provide internet-based eService software that enables companies to transform traditional customer call centers into multi-channel eService networks. eGain eService Enterprise is the Group's integrated software suite, which includes applications for knowledge management, self-service, email management and Web collaboration. The software suite enables online customers to communicate through each of the three primary eService channels: email, real-time and self-service. The Group provides services including software maintenance and support, training and system implementation consulting. The software applications are deployed either as a licensed application installed on servers at the customer location or as a hosted application service maintained and operated by the Group's hosted operations.
