Augat Inc is an international manufacturer and supplier of interconnection technology solutions to the automotive, communications, computer and industrial markets. It designs and markets a broad range of electromechanical components and subsystems. These include integrated circuit sockets, subminiature switches, coaxial cable, fiberoptic products, connectors and electronic packaging modules for the automomobile industry. Augat supplies electrical component for Chrysler and Ford, two of the largest automobile manufacturers in the U.S. It also supplies other major manufacturers, such as Motorola, Intel and Time Warner Cable.
