Dewhurst PLC. The Group's principal activities are manufacturing electrical components and control equipment for industrial and commercial capital goods, and supplying lift equipment. The Group's operations are carried out through three divisions, namely Lift, Rail and Keypads. The Lift division supplies products such as pushbuttons, indicators, auxiliary equipment, lift control and monitoring systems to the lift industry worldwide. The Rail division supplies pushbuttons and indicators and associated products to the rail industry. The Keypads division supplies keypads to various markets like banking terminals, security, ticketing machines and petrol pumps. The Group operates in the United Kingdom, Canada, the United States of America and Australia. During 2006, the Group acquired the entire share capital of Traffic Management Products Ltd.
