Elexsys International Inc., is one of the leading manufacturers and marketers of advanced multilayer components and backpanel circuit boards. The company's circuit boards are designed and produced to customer specification and are marketed to orignal equipment manufacturers in the data processing, telecommunication and instrumentation industries. The majority of Elexsys's production consists of technologically advanced boards, those having four or more layers and two, three or four tracks between plated through-holes, and which may incorporate buried vias and/or surface mount technology. "Through holes" are holes drilled entirely through the board that are plated with a conductive material and constitute the primary connection between the circuitry on the different layers of the board. In fiscal 1996, the company acquired Anetec Technologies Inc..
