Electro-Bau AG (EBG) is owned jointly by VA Technologie AG and Oberoesterreichische Kraftwerke AG. The operations of EBG can be divided into two areas: energy and the environment, plant technology and services. EBG manufactures electrical and electronic plant and systems, as well as transformer equipment. The main customers are banks, chains of retail stores, the hotel business, local government and regional authorities. EBG also installs electrical systems for the public health and pharmaceutical market, a part of its business which is steadily increasing. The company has subsidiaries in Germany, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Poland and Ireland.
