Axsys Technologies, Inc.. The Group's principal activities are carried out by two segments: Optical Systems and Distributed Products. The Optical Systems Group designs, manufactures and sells highly precise assemblies and components which are embedded in optical systems for both government and commercial applications. Its products are precision metal optical products, infrared optical products, motion control products, and precision machined light-weight structures. The Distributed Product division distributes precision ball bearings spherical plain bearings and bushings, which are used in a variety of industrial automation and commercial markets acquired from various domestic and international sources, to original equipments manufacturers and maintenance repair operations distributors.
