Opticom ASA. The Group's principal activities are the research and development of all-organic optical memory and processing systems. The Group develops storage and memory devices from polymeric materials which can be processed in liquid state. The main product is an optical read/write memory and processing system based on the exclusive use of all-organic components. The core of the technology is an electrically switchable polymer, which offers memory functionality through its bistable properties. The polymer is applied in very thin layers onto various substrates, including flexible plastic foils, by spin-coating, spraying, printing or silk-screen printing.
