The Group's principal activities are to design, manufacture, market and support surface equipment used in the fabrication of microelectronics such as advanced semiconductor devices. The Surface Conditioning technology solutions manufactures, markets and supports equipment that uses wet, vapor, cryogenic and other chemistry techniques to clean strip or etch the surfaces of silicon wafers. The Polaris systems and services enables customers to achieve a reasonable life for our legacy Polaris Microlithography systems. The Microlithography system uses light to transfer a circuit pattern or image onto a silicon wafer. These products are used in the microlithography process to deposit light-sensitive material onto the surface of a wafer and also to develop the image in the photosensitive material. The products are directly sold and serviced in North America, Europe, and the Asia Pacific. The Group sells and services its products in Japan through an affiliate, muFSI, LTD.
