AEP Generating Company. The Company's principal activity is to provide electric services. The Company is a wholly owned subsidiary of American Electric Power Company Inc. The service areas of the Company cover portions of the states of Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia. The generating and transmission facilities of the Company are physically interconnected and their operations are coordinated as a single integrated electric utility system. Generates, transmits and distributes electricity on an integrated basis to the retail customers
