The Company develops, manages and owns cogeneration projects which produce electricity and thermal energy for sale to industrial and commercial users and public utilities. Apart from this, the company sells and rents power generation and standby/peak saving equipment and services. Cogeneration involves the sequential production of two or more forms of energy using a single fuel source, thereby increasing the fuel efficiency. Energy revenues accounted for 71% of 1998 revenues; equipment sales and services, 26% and rental revenues, 3%.
