Edison Mission Energy. The Group's principal activities are to develop, acquire, own and operate electric power generation facilities. At 31-Dec-2005, the Group had owned or leased interests in 20 operating power projects with an aggregate generating capacity of 10,214 megawatts (MW). Additionally, the Group also conducts energy trading and price risk management activities in power markets. The Group has its operations in the United States. During 2005, the Group sold 50% interest in the Caliraya-Botocan-Kalayaan (CBK) hydroelectric power project and 25% interest in the Tri Energy project.
