Dominion Resources, Inc.. The Group's principal activities are to generate, transmit, distribute and sell gas and electric energy. The Group's activities are carried out through four segments: Generation operations, Energy, Delivery and Exploration and Production Services. Generation segment includes the operations of electric utility and merchant fleet. Energy segment consists of electric transmission, natural gas transmission pipeline and storage businesses, certain natural gas production, as well as Clearinghouse and field services operations. Delivery segment includes electric and gas distribution systems, customer service operations and retail energy marketing operations. Exploration and production services segment manages the Group's onshore and offshore gas and oil exploration, development and production operations.
