Company Description
Kansai Electric Power Co Inc (The). The Group's principal activity is to supply electric power from hydroelectric, fossil fuel and nuclear power plants. The operations are carried out through the following divisions: Electric power supply; Information communication and Other. Information communication division provides electric communication services, electric communication equipment leasing, data calculation services, consigned software development services and equipment leasing. Other operations include consigned electric work and engineering, automotive repairing, sales and leasing, equipment leasing, heating supply and real estate business. Electric Power supply accounted for 91% of fiscal 2006 revenues; information communication business, 3% and other, 6%.
