Sierra Pacific Resources. The Group's principal activities are distribution, transmission, generation, purchase and sale of electric energy. The Group operates through three segments: Electric service, Natural gas and Other services. Electric service is provided to Las Vegas and surrounding Clark County, northern Nevada and the Lake Tahoe area of California through its subsidiary Nevada Power Company.
