The company's three main groups are starter batteries, deep-cycle batteries and car batteries. Production is located in Aurora, Colorado, in the USA. In December 1998, Volvo Technology Transfer AB and Gylling Optima Batteries AB signed a letter of intent on collaboration. Volvo Technology Transfer and Gylling Optima Batteries AB established the joint-venture company EFF-Power AB in 1999.
