It operates through three segments: Electronic Conversion Devices, Ovonic Battery and United Solar Ovonic. The Electronic Conversion Devices(ECD) segment develops products and processes in the field of information technology. The Ovonic Battery segment is involved in developing and commercializing battery technology for transportation and stationary applications and offers stationary battery applications for telecommunications and uninterruptible power supply systems. The United Solar Ovonic segment develops, manufactures and commercializes photovoltaic products that enable direct conversion of sunlight into electrical energy.
