Befesa Medio Ambiente Sa(BEFESA). The Group's principal activities are the management and treatment of industrial waste, engineering services and environmental cleaning. The Group operates through six divisions: Environmental engineering division is involved in designing and construction of hydraulic infrastructure and environmental plants. The Aluminium residues recycling division is in recycling and exploitation of aluminium content residues. The Zinc and desulphurisation division is involved in the recycling of zinc and desulphurisation residues. The Industrial residues division provides environmental platform for the integral management of industrial residues. Industrial Cleaning and Hydrocarbons divisions is involved in recycling of used oils and energy recovery operations. The Salt slag recycling is involved in the salt slag processing and recovery. Recycling of Aluminum acctds for 41% of 2005 revs; Environmental Eng, 26%; Industrial Waste, 20% and Recycling of Zinc 13%
