TurboSonic Technologies, Inc.. The Group's principal activities are to design and market integrated pollution control systems and to provide rehabilitation, maintenance and other services. The Group's proprietary technology is designed to control a wide variety of air pollution control problems for industries including pulp and paper, wood products, mining, non-ferrous metallurgical, iron and steel, chemical, food and beverage, waste processing, power generation, automotive and cement. The Group's operations are carried out through two segments: Aftermarket and Original Equipment Systems. The Aftermarket segment includes nozzle systems that typically operate in conjunction with products and systems supplied by others. The Original Equipment Systems includes scrubber systems used to absorb gaseous pollutants and particulate matter contained in exhaust gas streams, such as smokestacks, and incorporates the use of the Group's proprietary air-atomizing nozzle technology.
