UGI Utilities, Inc.. The Group's principal activity is to own and operate natural gas distribution utility and an electric utility. The Group is a wholly owned subsidiary of UGI Corporation. The natural gas is distributed to about 307,000 customers in portions of 15 eastern and southeastern Pennsylvania counties through its distribution system of gas mains extending 5,000 miles. The Group purchases gas from Gulf Coast, Mid Continent, Appalachian and Canadian sources.
