Adams Resources & Energy, Inc.. The Group's principal activity is to market crude oil, natural gas and petroleum products, transport liquid chemicals and explore oil and gas. It operates in three segments: Marketing, Transportation and Oil and Gas Exploration. Marketing segment purchase initial production of crude oil and natural gas at the wellhead and distributes to the refiners and other customers. Transportation segment transports liquid chemicals and crude oil on hire basis through out the United States and Canada. Oil and gas exploration segment explore crude oil and natural gas located in the United States. The Group operates in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom. STC maintains truck terminals in Houston, Corpus Christi, and Nederland, Texas as well as Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Mobile, Alabama and Atlanta, Georgia. Group operates 70 tractor-trailer rigs and maintains over 50 pipeline inventory locations or injection stations. STC operates 289 truck tractors and 451 tank.
