Berry Petroleum Company. The Company's principal activity is to produce, develop, acquire exploits and explore crude oil and natural gas. The Company's principal producing properties are located in the San Joaquin Valley, Los Angeles and Ventura basins in California and the Uinta Basin in northeastern Utah. At 31-Dec-2006, the Group had working interest in 3,050 gross productive wells. The Company owns three cogeneration facilities, which are intended to provide an efficient and secure long-term supply of steam that is necessary for the economic production of heavy oil. The Company also has electricity generation operation. The Company's customers include oil and pipeline companies, refineries and utility companies.
