Company Description
Precision Drilling Corporation. The Group's principal activities are to provide access to a growing fleet of drilling & service rigs, open hole & cased hole wireline services, controlled pressure drilling, downhole completion tools & logging- while-drilling system. The Group operates in three industry segments: Contract Drilling group, Technology Services group & Rental & Production group. Contract Drilling Group includes drilling rigs, service rigs & hydraulic well assist snubbing units. Technology Services includes wireline, directional drilling, measurement or logging services, well testing, pumping services for cementing. Rental & Production Group includes oilfield equipment rental services, industrial process services & compression equipment rental services. The Group has operations in Canada, the United States, Latin America. Europe/Africa, Middle East and Asia Pacific. Contract Drilling accounted for 46% of 2002 revenues; Technology services, 38%; Rental & production, 16% & Other, nominal.
