Company Description
Pool Energy Services Co. provides services in the oil and natural gas industry. The main revenues are from well-servicing contracts i.e. maintenance and repair operations on the oil and natural gas wells and drilling and production contract services. Revenues of the company are from both onshore and offshore contracts. The markets are in the United States, South America, Middle East, Asia, Australia, Europe and Africa. During the year the company acquired Sea Mar, Inc., a privately owned offshore support vessel company. Well servicing accounted for 56% of 1998 revenues; and offshore workover/drilling and related services 44%.
