ShawCor Limited Formerly known as Shaw Industries Limited. The Group's principal activities are to provide products and services to global energy industry. The Group operates through three business segments: Exploration and production, Pipeline and Petrochemical and industrial. The Pipeline segment manufactures pipe coating, lining and insulation products. This segment also manufactures heat shrinkable sleeves, adhesives and liquid coatings for pipeline joint protection applications. The Petrochemical and industrial segment is comprised of Shaw flex that manufactures wire and cable for process instrumentation and control applications. The Exploration and production segment manufactures drill string components and provides oil field tubular management services. The operations of the Group are carried out in Canada, the United States, Europe, Mexico, Africa and the Middle East. Pipeline services accounted for 74% of 2002 revenues; Petrochemical and industrial services, 16% and Exploration and production services, 10%.
