The company maintains adequate reserves of natural gas, an alternative fuel source for electricity generating facilities for their power consumption requirements. The exploration activities are carried out through advanced technologies which includes 3-D seismic analysis, computerized mapping and reservoir simulation modeling. The company has entered into fixed-price natural gas delivery contracts with natural gas pipeline marketing affiliates, a municipality, an independent power producer and other end users, basically to reduce exposure to decrease in oil and natural gas prices due to volatile fluctuation.
