Quicksilver Resources Inc.. The Group's principal activity is to acquire, develop, explore, produce and sell natural gas, crude oil and natural gas liquid. It is also engaged in the gathering, processing and transmission of natural gas. The Group pursues business through the acquisition and development of oil and gas mineral leases, gas gathering systems and producing natural gas and crude oil properties. It currently has an interest in natural gas and crude oil mineral leases, a pipeline transmission system, gas gathering and processing facilities and wells producing hydrocarbons. It operates in the Untied States and Canada.During 2005 Group acquired approximately 310,000 net acres in a contiguous block of west Texas and plan to drill four resource assessment wells on that acreage to evaluate the Barnett and Woodford Shales in the Delaware Basin. Natural Gas Sales accounted for 83% of 2006 revenues; Oil Sales, 9%; Natural Gas Liquid Sales, 7% and Other, 1%
