Company Description
Erg SPA(ERG). The Group's principal activities are the refining, distributing and marketing of crude oil and refined petroleum products. Oil refining is carried out in high-tech plants and the finished product is sold both in Italy and abroad. The Group trades oil, diesel, lubricants (under the Ergo trademark), non-oil products and car accessories through a network of 2,108 outlets. The products is sold directly or through retailers to industrial, agricultural and utility customers and to other oil companies. The Group is also involved in electric power production. Coastal Refining accounted for 60% of 2005 revenues, Integrated Downstream, 34% and Power Generation, 6%
